Biowig

Back in college we all had to design a mechanical animal and make it in XSI, I designed a mechanical earwig, decided it would be fun to paint him again

This weekend I discovered the horrors of trying to get a Wacom driver on Ubuntu. Let's just say that didn't work and I couldn't paint (so does 3x the imagery count???) :c
All my traditional art supplies are still packed from moving and I labeled all my boxes "stuff" because I am brilliant : D!

Thought I'd kick off with this. (I've had these reference shots from the PhoebeAllens.com cam sitting around for a month or two, wanted to do a sketch in Photoshop preliminary to attempting it in acrylic.)

Quick color study to reacquaint myself with painting in photoshop... kinda stopped painting in my free time a few years back so hoping this month will guilt me into stop being so lazy and get back into it!

BOBA FETT, back from the DEAD

Started this monday, finished today : ) SUCH A CHEATER I KNOW. Pretty sure that Boba Fett isn't left handed, but there are so many other stupid details I just gave up on because they made no sense worrying about (such as the distance from Jabba's Palace to the Sarlacc Pit, yeah I actually almost looked it up).

This is the first of a series of concept bikes for my After The End world concept.

I'm just starting with a simple doodle here; the idea is to build more and more "into the world" and create modular bikes, riders, and the ruined worldscape they inhabit.
